Articles

Acreditas is a journal dedicated to the publication of scientific or academic research articles, where the culture of quality in higher education is disseminated and promoted through the publication of results of studies or processes with the intention of providing new knowledge and the application of innovative methods in the context of self-evaluation, accreditation, good practices and success stories in educational quality and continuous improvement in the different academic areas of knowledge.

The articles have a preliminary review by the Editorial Team or Scientific Committee, also includes a peer review under the double-blind method by members of the Arbitration Committee, which ensures that editorial decisions are based on the scientific and academic quality of the work. This process ensures objectivity and transparency in the selection of published articles. In addition, all articles must comply with the citation and reference standards of the 7th edition of the Publication Manual of the American Psychological Association (APA), ensuring academic integrity and respect for copyright.

To guarantee the consistency and quality of the articles, submitted manuscripts must comply with certain guidelines, ensuring that they are original and exclusive, without having been previously published or under evaluation in other academic or scientific circles.

The article submission process includes several specific requirements. Authors must submit a manuscript of between 6 to 10 pages, not including bibliographical references, an abstract in Spanish and English, with a maximum of 250 words, clearly and concisely stating the objectives, methodology, results and conclusions of the study. In addition, between 3 and 5 keywords should be included in both languages, which should reflect the main content of the paper. These keywords are essential for the indexing of the article in academic databases and to facilitate the search of the content.

The structure of the article should follow a clear and organized format. In the introduction, the general context of the research topic should be presented, explaining the importance of the problem or research question. A brief summary of the current state of the topic is necessary, highlighting the areas where information is still lacking, and establish the specific objectives of the study.

Regarding the methodology, a detailed description of how the study was carried out should be provided, specifying the research design, whether it was experimental, descriptive, correlational, among others. It is necessary to detail the characteristics of the sample and the population, the instruments and tools used, the procedures followed, and the data analysis methods employed. The purpose of this section is to ensure that other researchers can replicate the study, if they wish to do so.

The results should be presented in a clear and objective manner, aligned with the stated objectives, without including interpretations or discussions. The use of tables, graphs and figures is recommended to illustrate the data effectively. Each visual element should be accompanied by a brief description explaining its content, avoiding redundancy and ensuring that information already presented in the tables or graphs is not repeated.

The conclusions should provide a final assessment of the findings obtained, interpreting the results and relating them to previous studies. This section should synthesize the study as a whole, highlighting the most significant findings and proposing possible lines of future research or practical applications based on the results.

Tables, figures and graphs included in the article should be clear and numbered consecutively, accompanied by a brief and descriptive title. It is also necessary to indicate if these elements are their own or, if applicable, their origin.
